Reiki I – First Degree mainly for Self Healing

You will receive 4 Usui attunements. This process opens your chakras and promotes an emotional and physical cleansing and is particularly beneficial for self-healing. Daily practice enables your body to acclimatise to the energy and to grow stronger with use. With just one Reiki attunement, the healer becomes an instant chancel for this universal healing energy from the time of attunement through the rest of the healer’s life. All the healer has to do to connect to the energy is to place their hands on someone or themselves and the energy will automatically flow. In truth the attunement does not give the receiver anything new. It just opens and aligns what is already there. Just like plugging in a table lamp in a house that is already wired for electricity.

What will an Attunement feel like?

The process of Attunement or initiation is what sets Reiki apart from other forms of laying on of hands healing.Receivers of attunements experience as many different things as there are students. Some perceive colours, others see pictures, some experience past lives or childhood experiences. Some are filled with light or a feeling of total peace, wonder and love. When bringing the energy through you are likely to feel the Reiki characteristic of heat radiating through your hands, but sometimes this can be cold or nothing at all, it does not mean the energy is not flowing.The attunement does not give the receiver anything new; it opens and aligns what is already a part of you.

Reiki is never given or sent, it is drawn in appropriate amounts by the person. For example, if I lay my hands on someone to do a treatment, that person will draw the appropriate amount of energy to whichever area of the body needs it. I am never drained in the process, as I too am treated as I “give” a treatment. Reiki is not a belief system, therefore, no mental preparation or direction is needed to receive a treatment, only a desire to receive and accept the energy. On the other hand, from the standpoint of the practitioner, since it is not a belief system once the intention is clear to start a treatment, it will always be activated and the healer will draw the required frequency of energy to the place of imbalance as needed. If you try to force more energy through you will only slow down the flow, so just trust and it will work for the highest good of all involved.

What will happen after Reiki Level 1 Attunement?

Who knows!? Only you will feel the difference.

• You are now a Reiki Healer (YES YOU!).
• You Chakras are opened and you are connected to the Reiki Source.
• You are able to channel Reiki through your hands to yourself or others by your link to the Reiki Source.
• You will become increasingly aware of what you need to do in regards to your healing.
• You will become more intuitive and psychic.
• Further changes will manifest in your life that are needed and are distinctive to you.

Reiki II – Second Degree for healing others and absent healing

In Reiki I (first degree) your energy system became attuned to allow you to assimilate a higher vibratory level of energy. In Reiki II (second degree) that energy system is fine-tuned by the use of symbols which result in an amplification of the energy you can channel. It is in Reiki II the student learns the three symbols – power, distance and mental/emotional. It is by the use of these symbols the student learns the skill of being able to focus healing on mental and emotional problems, together with distant healing of those not physically present.

It is often stated with Reiki II comes an increase in power but we must remember we are all individuals and respond to the energy in our own way. Certainly it has been our experience that Reiki II, and the more you use Reiki, enables a stronger level of energy to flow but we are all different and so are the clients we will see. It should be remembered, therefore, they may not be ready to release the root cause of their problem and to heal themselves. This may mean you sense very little energy flowing from you to the client. It does not mean you are not channelling the energy correctly. Reiki has an intelligence of its own and will do what is for the highest good of the individual – not what the practitioner considers to be right. You may also rest assured the ideas and inspirations you have as to what energies to use at any given time will
be for the highest good of the client.

You may feel, if Reiki always works for the highest good of the person receiving it, and Reiki is not controlled by the practitioner, why would learning the symbols allow you to heal on mental/emotional levels or send Reiki across distances. The symbols allow a convenient point of focus, particularly for distant healing and the mental/emotional symbol is a practice of harmony. You are not so much directing the energy as focusing on an aspect of it for the good of the recipient. It is still the rule that Reiki will do what is best for the person regardless.

Traditionally only one attunement is given with Reiki II. You may, again, go through a cleansing period and the most important thing is to ensure you continue with self-healing. Hopefully, by now, you will have discovered the benefits of self-healing and it will have become part of your everyday life.

Reiki III – MASTER

The Reiki Master/Teacher (Level III) consists of learning the master symbol, receiving the attunement, and learning attunement processes.

What happens after a Master Level Attunement?

• Your Healing Energy will flow stronger and vibrate at a higher, more intense level. It will continue to expand at your own pace.

• Your personal and spiritual growth will expand to higher levels.

• You will have a Master Symbol that will intensify your other Reiki Symbols.

• You will become more at one with yourself and the universe.

• Your awareness of the intensity of the power of Reiki will expand.

• You will become more intuitive and psychic.

• The attunement and symbol will help you in your own life when needed.

• You will have a greater feeling of wholeness, fulfillment and completion.

• All the qualities of Reiki are enhanced by the use of the Master symbol.

• Further changes unique to you, will manifest themselves.

I perform these attunements between 8:30 and 13.00 GMT + 7 on working days, but you do NOT need to be “present” (online), aware of the session or awake in the moment of the session. It is not “prepared in advance”, but performed in “real time”. I will though send out an email just before I begin the session and when it has been successfully performed.
